Kittens, Kittens, Kittens

      Yes folks once again the season is upon us! The phones are ringing off the hook at all the shelters and pet stores. Cat lovers are on a quest for those cuddly, warm, little balls of fur to call their own!
     But what of last year's model, or perhaps the ones born years ago, those who may or may not have been adopted as ababy?  You know, the cute little kitten whose destiny it was to become a CAT!  Unfortuenately, unlike cars, there is never a shortage of leftover felines.
     Remeber that although kittens are a wonder to behold, there are a lot of younger, or even older cats out there in need of good homes.  These are the ones that already have a personality that you can see.  The ones that reach out of the cages at the local shelters and say, "Hey look at me, to know me is to love me!"
     So if you are longing for feline companionship, and the kittens are not ready to go yet, please take a walk through one of the local shelters.  Check out all the beautiful, soft, loving cats there.  If you are real lucky, one of them may just choose you!

Our kittens are kept in foster homes.  Once they are ready for adoption they come into the shelter during shelter hours on Saturdays.  We do not put holds on kittens over the phone.  If you wish to adopt a kitten, you must come into the shelter during Saturday visiting hours, 11am-4pm. 

Since kittens are not always available you may want to call ahead of time to find out if there will be any present.
